grateful dead, a tribe called quest, and sondre lerche
like the drip drip drop of the raindrops
when the summer rain is through
so a voice within me keeps repeating
you you you..
tara sent me the pictures she took back in january finally.
try and tell me i don't look super ethnic in this:
and here's a gem:
anyway..
seeing family is always a treat. everyone's kind of in their own place right now, but we still all had a blast. my cousin priya's arangetram turned out beautifully. she truly is someone i look up to, even at just 16 years of age. she had a piano recital the day before the performance, pulling through with the hour and a half of dancing alone for a 250 person audience at 4:00 p.m. the next day.
i'll have to explain the arangetram business in person, it's too long and too tedious to write out. either way, it was a big enough deal for all of our cousins to be under one roof (at least most of 'em) in fayetteville, north carolina. the pictures should all be up soon on facebook.
i'll be in valdosta for the next week and a half doing things so i'll probably update more frequently. now i'm going to bed and sleeping in for the first time in a while. weeeeeeeeee.
my writing should/better be a lot better starting tomorrow, this and previous posts are done way too haphazardly.
here's some more fotos:
all credit goes to tarashton photography.
i just love how tall i look in this picture. otherwise my face is pretty darn awkward looking. haha
